How to Block Connected Devices on TP-Link WiFi Router

Today I will show you how to block devices connected to your WiFi router, so they can't access the internet. I will demonstrate this by blocking my own phone. You can use the same method to block any device.

1. Open a Browser: First, open a browser on your computer. If you don't have a computer, you can do this on your phone using any browser.

2. Connect to WiFi: Make sure you are connected to your WiFi. You should see your WiFi connection on your phone.

3. Enter IP Address: In the browser, enter the IP address of your router. The common IP addresses are `192.168.0.1` or `192.168.1.1`. If you don't know the IP address of your router, you can try these common addresses.

4. Login to Router: Once you enter the IP address, a login page will appear. The default username and password are usually both "admin". If this doesn't work, you may need to check with the person who set up your WiFi, as they might have changed it.

5. Access Router Settings: After logging in, you will see the router's interface. Depending on your router model, the interface may vary. I will show you two different interfaces:

   Older Router Interface (WiFi 5):

   - Click on "Network Map."

   - Click on "Clients." You will see a list of all connected devices.

   - Find the device you want to block and click on it.

   - Select "Block." This will block the device from accessing the internet.

   Newer Router Interface (WiFi 6):

   - Click on "Advanced."

   - Scroll down and click on "Security."

   - Click on "Access Control."

   - You will see a list of connected devices. Find the device you want to block and click on it.

   - Select "Block." This will block the device from accessing the internet.

6. Block the Device: For demonstration, I will block my phone. You will see that my phone is currently connected to the internet. After I block it, the internet will stop working on my phone within a few seconds.

7. Unblock the Device: If you want to unblock the device later, go to "View Denied" in the Access Control settings. Find your device in the list and unblock it.

By following these steps, you can easily block any device connected to your TP-Link WiFi router. I hope you found this guide helpful. If you liked the video, please like it and subscribe to the channel. Take great care of yourself. Bye-bye!
