How to Log Out of YouTube on Android - Sign Out of YouTube App

Method 1: Clearing App Data
1. Open the YouTube app on your Android device.
2. Tap on your profile icon located in the top right corner.
3. Note that there's no direct "Sign Out" option.
4. Swipe up to access the app drawer and find "Settings".
5. Tap on "Settings" to open it.
6. In the search bar within the settings, type "YouTube" and select the YouTube app from the results.
7. Navigate to the app info for YouTube.
8. Look for options related to storage or cache.
9. Select "Clear Cache" and confirm the action.
10. Also, select "Clear Storage" and confirm to delete app data.
11. Return to the YouTube app; you'll now be prompted to log in again.
12. You can use the app without being signed in.

Method 2: Removing Google Account
1. Open the YouTube app on your Android device.
2. Tap on your profile icon in the top right corner.
3. Click on the arrow next to your YouTube account.
4. From the options that appear, select "Manage accounts" at the bottom.
5. Within the "Accounts" section, find your Google account associated with YouTube.
6. Tap on your Google account.
7. Choose the option to "Remove account."
8. Confirm the removal; this will unlink the YouTube account from your Android phone.
9. The removed account will need to be added again with the email and password to sign back in.

By following these methods, you can either log out of your YouTube account on Android by clearing app data or completely remove the linked Google account.
