How to increase & Decrease Font Size in Firefox browser

There are two ways to increase or decrease the font size in Firefox browser:

1. Using the zoom controls:

    * Press and hold the `Ctrl` key and press `+` to zoom in.

    * Press and hold the `Ctrl` key and press `-` to zoom out.

    * Press and hold the `Ctrl` key and press `0` to reset the zoom level.

2. Changing the default font size:

    1. Open Firefox.

    2. Click on the menu button (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner of the window.

    3. Select Preferences.

    4. Click on the General tab.

    5. Scroll down to the Language and Appearance section.

    6. Under Zoom, use the drop-down menu for Default zoom to select a zoom level for all pages.

    7. Close the Settings page.

The default font size in Firefox is 16pt. You can increase the font size up to 500pt and decrease it down to 30pt.

Note that changing the default font size will affect the font size of all pages in Firefox, including websites, menus, and dialog boxes.

Here are some other things to keep in mind when changing the font size in Firefox:

* The zoom controls will only affect the current page. If you want to change the zoom level for all pages, you need to change the default zoom setting.

* The zoom controls and the default zoom setting are independent of each other. You can use them together or separately to get the desired font size.

* If you are using a high-resolution display, you may need to increase the font size to make the text easier to read.

In Firefox, you can easily increase and decrease the font size of web pages using keyboard shortcuts or the browser's built-in settings. Here's how:

Method 1: Using Keyboard Shortcuts

1. Increase Font Size: Press and hold the `Ctrl` (or `Cmd` on Mac) key, and then press the `+` key (plus key) to increase the font size. You can press the `+` key multiple times to further increase the font size.

2. Decrease Font Size: Press and hold the `Ctrl` (or `Cmd` on Mac) key, and then press the `-` key (minus key) to decrease the font size. You can press the `-` key multiple times to further decrease the font size.

3. Reset to Default Font Size: To reset the font size to the default, press and hold the `Ctrl` (or `Cmd` on Mac) key, and then press the `0` key (zero key).

Method 2: Using Built-in Settings

1. Menu Method:

   - Click on the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner to open the Firefox menu.

   - Hover over "Zoom" to reveal the zoom options.

   - Click on "Zoom In" to increase the font size or "Zoom Out" to decrease the font size.

   - You can also select "Reset" to return to the default font size.

2. Keyboard Shortcut Method:

   - Press `Alt` on your keyboard to temporarily reveal the menu bar if it's hidden.

   - With the menu bar revealed, go to `View` > `Zoom`.

   - From here, you can select "Zoom In" or "Zoom Out" to adjust the font size.

Remember that these methods will adjust the font size for the entire web page, and the changes will apply to the current tab. Different websites may have different default font sizes, so the impact might vary from site to site.
